ABOUT THE ROLE
- We are looking for a
- Cloud Engineer with strong experience in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support the development, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based solutions within a highly regulated environment.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with GCP services, cloud‑native technologies, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
The role requires a strong technical background, a collaborative mindset, and a solid understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage and optimize GCP services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using Terraform.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams to deliver cloud‑native solutions.
- Implement cloud security best practices and support compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and platform‑related issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud environments and deployment processes.
Requirements
- Proven hands‑on experience with
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong knowledge of core GCP services, with particular expertise in
- Cloud SQL
- Experience with
Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
- Solid proficiency in
Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Good understanding of cloud security principles and compliance requirements, including
PCI standards.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud certifications.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
