Test Manager – Temenos Core Banking

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join a strategic Temenos Core Banking programme .

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing and quality assurance activities, defining the overall testing approach and coordinating business, technology and external stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

The role requires solid experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact , strong test management expertise within banking or financial services, and professional proficiency in French .

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall test strategy, master test plan, governance framework and quality criteria.
• Plan and coordinate SIT, UAT, end-to-end, integration and regression testing, as well as production verification.
• Analyse business requirements, functional specifications and technical designs to define test scope, coverage and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate the preparation and execution of test scenarios, test cases, scripts and test data.
• Manage testing schedules, resources, environments, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Lead defect management and triage, coordinating resolution with business analysts, developers, Temenos specialists, project managers and external partners.
• Coordinate testing activities across Temenos Transact and integrated systems, including payments, digital channels, middleware and downstream applications.
• Monitor testing progress and provide clear reporting on quality, risks, defects and overall test status.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, defects and test results.
• Support release readiness, deployment, cutover and post-production verification activities.
• Coordinate internal and external testing resources, including geographically distributed teams.
• Promote testing standards, effective documentation and continuous improvement throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Professional proficiency in French, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Strong working proficiency in English.
• Significant experience in Test Management within banking or financial services.
• Hands‑on experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact, including implementations, migrations, upgrades or major enhancements.
• Strong understanding of core banking processes and relevant Temenos areas, particularly:
  • Customer Management
  • Accounts and Deposits
  • Lending
  • Payments and Funds Transfer
  • Treasury
• Proven experience managing SIT, UAT, integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience developing test strategies, test plans, scenarios, test cases, traceability matrices and management reporting.
• Strong defect‑management experience and familiarity with tools such as Jira, HP ALM / Quality Center or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder‑management, leadership and communication skills.
• Structured, analytical and solution‑oriented approach with strong attention to quality and detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, Close of Business / End of Day processing, regulatory reporting and financial accounting.
• Knowledge of additional Temenos modules in complex banking environments.
• Exposure to API testing, test automation, Selenium, Java or DevOps practices.
• Temenos T24 / Transact certification or recognised software‑testing certification.
• Experience in large‑scale data migration or core banking transformation programmes.
