FORRS is an international Strategy and Management Consultancy focused on the entire Trading Value Chain in the energy and financial sector.
Our GRYT platform covers the full front-to-back value chain of traded instruments.
We are looking for a working student to join the GRYT engineering team and help build the software behind it.
- Your Challenges
- Write high-quality, testable code that solves real business problems, with structured support as you learn our codebase and practices.
- Collaborate daily through code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions.
- Own your tasks from implementation to production, including tests and monitoring.
- Connect your technical work to real customer value in energy and financial markets.
Your Profile
- Enrolled in, or about to start, a Master's in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of Python, Java, or a comparable language.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- A plus: web services and APIs, databases, CI/CD, cloud, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Eager to learn about business domains (quantitative methods, trading processes, markets).
- Fluent in German and English.
- Available 16 to 20 hours per week for more than six months.
