canton of Vaud, we are looking for a bSenior Analog Power Hardware Engineer (M/F) /b. /p pReporting to a technical manager, you will join a multidisciplinary RD team involved in the development of advanced electronic products operating in highly demanding environments. /p pYou will take ownership of complex hardware developments involving analog electronics, DC-DC converters, power-supply architectures and EMC/EMI constraints. /p pThe products include compact, low-voltage electronic boards combining high-current capability, limited power consumption and stringent low-noise requirements. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn the complete development lifecycle of complex analog and power electronic boards, from requirements definition through production readiness. /li liDefine robust power-supply architectures including DC-DC converters, point-of-load regulators, filters, protections and power-distribution functions. /li liDesign analog, mixed-signal and power electronic circuits. /li liTranslate system requirements into electronic architectures and detailed hardware specifications. /li liPerform schematic design, component selection, calculations and electronic simulations. /li liDefine PCB placement, routing, stack-up, grounding, power-distribution and thermal constraints. /li liPerform or support PCB design reviews with particular attention to power integrity, signal integrity, current density and EMC/EMI. /li liDevelop compact, low-voltage boards capable of delivering significant current while maintaining stable and very low-noise performance. /li liDevelop prototypes, proof-of-concepts and hardware validation platforms. /li liLead board bring-up, debugging, characterization and design verification activities. /li liDefine and execute validation and qualification plans. /li liInvestigate hardware failures and perform root-cause analysis at component, board and system levels. /li liResolve issues related to EMC/EMI, noise, ripple, stability, transient response, thermal behaviour and electrical robustness. /li liConduct technical trade-off analyses and contribute to formal design reviews. /li liEnsure Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly and Design for Test considerations throughout the development process. /li liSupport industrialization, supplier interactions and the transfer of electronic designs into production. /li liEnsure hardware maturity and production readiness. /li liProduce and maintain technical documentation, including design justifications, validation plans, test procedures, test reports and manufacturing documentation. /li liCollaborate closely with hardware, RF, system, software, mechanical, thermal and manufacturing teams. /li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 pYou hold a Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field. /p pYou have significant industrial experience in hardware development and a proven track record of taking complex electronic boards from initial requirements through architecture, detailed design, bring-up, validation and industrialization. /p pYou combine strong technical expertise with the ability to take full ownership of a hardware development subject and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liAt least 8 years of industrial experience in electronic hardware development. /li liStrong experience in analog electronics and/or power electronics. /li liProven experience designing complete electronic boards from architecture definition through validation. /li liSolid experience with DC-DC converters and power-supply design. /li liExperience defining power architectures including converters, point-of-load regulators, filters, protections and power-distribution functions. /li liExperience designing compact, low-voltage and high-current electronic boards. /li liStrong schematic design and component-selection skills. /li liExperience defining and reviewing PCB layouts. /li liGood understanding of grounding, shielding, return-current paths, decoupling, filtering and separation between power and sensitive analog signals. /li liPractical experience with EMC/EMI design, testing and troubleshooting. /li liExperience addressing noise, ripple, stability, transient response and thermal constraints. /li liProven hands-on experience performing board bring-up, debugging, verification and qualification. /liliAbility to investigate hardware failures and identify root causes at component and board level. /li liExperience taking electronic products through industrialization or production readiness. /li liExperience preparing design justifications, validation plans and technical test reports. /li liAbility to independently lead a complex hardware development from requirements to production. /li liHands-on laboratory experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads, power analyzers, current probes and related equipment. /li liStrong documentation, communication and technical problem-solving skills. /li liAbility to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary and international environment. /li liProfessional proficiency in English. /li liSwiss or EU-27 citizenship. /li liAvailability to work fully on-site in the Lausanne area. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience in
