Role Overview The Manager, Business Development is a key role in managing the Business Development team in driving new business opportunities for the Germany sales teams through identifying, qualifying, nurturing and setting appointments or opportunities in prospect and dormant accounts for Fortinet in support of our rapidly growing business in a high growth market. The role is based in Germany reporting into the EMEA Business Development Director, based in UK. Responsibilities Have full management responsibility for a team of Business Development Representatives, providing support and coaching in all areas of the BDR role, including systems, solutions and performance related factors. Undertake regular performance reviews providing insight as to how performance can be improved, as well as ensuring adherence to company policy and taking the necessary measures where appropriate. Be focused on ensuring that the Business Development team hits it's targets and key performance indicators, they will need to use data to help them identify trends and make decisions accordingly. Be prepared to undertake any projects as guided and defined by the Business Development Director, as well as making their own recommendations. Engaging with internal customers and business partners is a key part of the role as well as the preparation and analysis of accurate reporting. Lead by example.
