Overview
In this role you support Fortinet’s GSI sales by delivering technical pre-sales expertise and post-sales guidance. You will serve as the SME for Fortinet’s portfolio, especially FortiOS-based products, and lead technical engagements, demos, PoCs, and RfX responses. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor architecture and enablement for strategic GSI accounts. You will help drive upsell opportunities while shaping secure, scalable network and security solutions.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Serve as subject matter expert in assigned GSI domain and articulate technical and business value of Fortinet solutions
- Lead technical sales engagements from queries to demos, PoCs, RfX responses, and enablement
- Provide high-level architecture and implementation guidance for strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with Consulting System Engineers, Solution Architects, Professional Services, and Partners on complex opportunities
- Capture and manage customer requirements with the Consulting System Engineering Team; support enablement activities and events
- Maintain strong customer relationships as trusted technical advisor for GSI accounts
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and influence project decisions
- Coordinate with escalation and support teams to resolve technical issues
- Demonstrate Fortinet portfolio integration and third-party interoperability at a technical level
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pre-sales support for GSIs
- Deep knowledge in design and delivery of GSI-related services and solutions
- Expert networking and network security knowledge (LAN/WAN, SDN, routing, switching, Next-Gen Firewalls, IDS, encryption)
- Strong customer focus with self-motivation and goal-driven attitude
- Willingness to travel 20–50%
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Customer-centric mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interface with senior stakeholders
- FortiOS-based product knowledge
- Networking and security fundamentals (LAN/WAN, SDN, routing, switching, encryption)
- PoC design and execution
