Overview
In this role you will design, deploy and support Fortinet network security solutions across the EMEA region from Sophia Antipolis. You will work with cross-border teams to implement secure network services, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure ITIL-aligned operations. The position offers exposure to Fortinet technologies and a path to deepening expertise in FortiGate and related security components. You will contribute to regional deployments and keep solutions resilient and aligned with business needs.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide and implement network design and services across the EMEA region
- Deploy, configure, test, and troubleshoot Fortinet security solutions in production
- Perform project risk analysis and implement mitigation plans
- Create project documents including topologies, test plans, procedures, and architecture diagrams
- Demonstrate structured troubleshooting and problem-solving approaches
- Upgrade and maintain hardware and software following ITIL best practices
- Provide network support to users by handling incidents to resolution
- Develop core competency in Fortinet products and technologies
- Travel as needed to support and deploy network solutions across offices in EMEA
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a structured approach
- Experience with security products (firewalls, IPsec, IDS/IPS, anti-spam, AV)
- Experience with L2 switching and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Fortinet product experience is a plus; FortiGate knowledge highly desirable
- Positive, communicative, customer-oriented attitude
- Ability to work in a multicultural team
- Scripting knowledge is advantageous
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team
- Five or more years of experience in network design and security
- Advanced knowledge of English and German (written and spoken)
