Overview
In this role you drive threat intelligence and adversarial security initiatives within FortiGuard, delivering labs, demos and training to support presales and high-impact opportunities. You’ll design and run technical workshops, CTFs, and research content to demonstrate Fortinet’s AI-enabled threat detection and defense capabilities. You collaborate with global teams to shape thought leadership and enable SecOps-driven engagements, translating complex concepts for technical and business audiences. Your work helps disrupt adversaries and strengthen customer security operations.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Support presales efforts across the AMER region with regional travel up to 50%
- Design and deliver advanced workshops, demos, and CTF challenges simulating real-world threats
- Develop and maintain cyber labs using Active Directory, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Create threat intelligence content, blogs, webinars, whitepapers, and conference presentations
- Liaise with FortiGuard Labs R&D to bring cutting-edge threat insights to field opportunities
- Mentor and enable sales engineers, partners, and marketing teams on threats and AI usage
- Deliver technical presentations to both technical and executive audiences
- Demonstrate FortiGuard security concepts (APTs, threat intel) in product context
- Engage in lab development, reverse engineering/malware analysis and threat hunting projects
- Contribute to strategic assets for executive briefings and high-impact demonstrations
- Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and create new content for presentations and training
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 10+ years of industry experience with presentation experience
- Strong understanding of malware, sandboxes (PE32/64) and exploit lifecycle
- Penetration testing framework experience (e.g., Metasploit)
- Solid networking concepts
- Ability to independently research cyber security topics, build labs, demos, and training
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to technical and business audiences
- Experience with adversarial AI techniques and ML models
- Familiarity with malware reverse engineering, threat hunting, and lab development
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and speak with external stakeholders
