Our client is seeking an experienced Sustainability Specialist. In this role you will support the implementation of sustainability strategies, ESG reporting, and data analysis. You’ll collaborate across departments and with external partners to promote sustainable practices and drive environmental impact. Ideal for candidates with a background in sustainability and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of sustainability strategies across internal departments and external stakeholders
• Raise awareness of sustainability initiatives both within the organization and with partners
• Monitor, collect, and analyse sustainability performance data in line with evolving regulations and industry benchmarks
• Assist with reporting requirements (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy), including data preparation and statistical evaluation
• Contribute expertise in Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and sustainability certifications (e.g., Cradle to Cradle)
• Coordinate sustainability-related supplier reviews and respond to customer data inquiries

Your Profile:

• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Engineering, or a comparable field
• Knowledge of the GHG Protocol, Science-Based Targets (SBTi), and climate impact strategies
• Familiarity with international sustainability frameworks (e.g., UN SDGs, GRI, SASB)
• Initial experience with sustainability reporting (e.g., CSRD, CDP, EU Taxonomy, TCFD) is advantageous
• Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and enthusiasm for innovation
• Confident using MS Office and data tools
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
