About the Opportunity
A growing Swiss technology organisation is looking for a Microsoft Workplace Administrator to join its internal infrastructure and workplace team.
This is a particularly good opportunity for someone in the earlier stages of their infrastructure career who wants to move beyond traditional support and develop deeper skills across Microsoft, Windows, Microsoft 365 and Citrix .
You’ll work alongside experienced System Engineers, taking responsibility for day-to-day platform operations while gradually becoming involved in engineering, automation and infrastructure projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Maintain Windows clients and servers.
- Support and maintain Citrix components.
- Diagnose and resolve technical incidents.
- Manage service requests and changes.
- Maintain hardware, software and technical documentation.
- Support Workplace, Cloud and Infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with System Engineering, Network and Security teams.
Your Profile
- Practical experience with Microsoft and Windows environments.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Windows clients and servers.
- Initial exposure to Citrix would be beneficial.
- Understanding of structured IT service processes.
- PowerShell, Intune or Microsoft Graph knowledge is advantageous.
- Completed IT apprenticeship or comparable qualification.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Professional German language skills.
- English or French would be advantageous.
- Category B driving licence.
