Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a leading global IT services provider? FPT Software Europe is seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP Pre-Sales Lead Consultant to join our team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both in the field with customers and in our offices in Essen or other locations in Germany.

Tasks

  • Lead pre-sales activities for SAP solutions in the DACH region.
  • Provide software solutions estimations and quotations to the sales teams based on diverse customer project requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop and present tailored SAP solutions to prospective clients.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and demonstrate how our SAP solutions can drive value.
  • Design and develop customized solution demonstrations, responses to RFPs, and project proposal presentations.
  • Conduct solution presentations and demonstrations in meetings with the company’s customers.
  • Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our SAP solutions and service offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with SAP ECC, SAP Business Suite, SAP S/4HANA, or other SAP solution products as a Functional Consultant, Solution Architect, Technical Consultant, or Project Manager.
  • Proven track record in developing business and delivering successful SAP solutions for large enterprises.
  • Good knowledge of SAP Application Modules such as Financial Accounting, Controlling, Financial Closing, Financial Consolidation (BOFC), Group Reporting, Procurement, Purchasing, Logistics Execution, AATP, Shipping, or Transportation Management.
  • Familiarity with SAP DMC, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, or SAP IBP is a plus.
  • Hands-on business knowledge and experience in vertical industries such as FMCG, Retail, Supply Chain, and Real Estate.
  • Experience in SAP projects, including implementation, system rollout, system maintenance, and support projects.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-national software outsourcing company is a big plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives.
  • Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Innovative, critical-thinking, and problem-solving mindset with great business acumen.
  • Able to tolerate stress and work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region as needed.
