This isn't just another Security Manager position - you'll have the autonomy to establish best practices, enhance existing programmes, and drive the future of security operations across multiple sites.
What You'll Do
- Lead security operations across multiple European sites, managing both in-house and contracted security teams.
- Oversee workforce planning, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and development.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and security metrics to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute the regional security strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Act as the primary escalation point for security matters and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Foster a high-performing, innovative, and collaborative security culture.
- Identify security risks and implement scalable, practical solutions that balance protection and business needs.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in line with regulations and best practices.
- Partner with Technical Security to enhance access control, CCTV, alarms, and other physical security systems.
- Manage budgets, headcount, and security projects while ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Lead emergency response and critical incident management, including after-hours support.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, Facilities, and Operations to ensure compliance and business alignment.
- Prepare executive-level reports and communicate security insights to key stakeholders.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of security experience, including 5+ years in a corporate security leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in physical security, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, fire/life safety, and visitor management.
- Experience developing security policies, training, investigations, risk assessments, and large-scale security programs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead change, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on operational experience and confidence engaging with senior executives.
- Data-driven approach to security management using metrics, audits, and threat intelligence.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Preferred certifications: ASIS CPP or PSP.
- Additional experience in Travel Security, Crisis Management, Executive Protection, and Business Continuity is a plus.
