About The Department
Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) manages $144B in assets and delivers multi- asset, quantitative, and hedged investment solutions globally. The Client Investment Solutions team partners with portfolio managers and distribution teams to develop client focused strategies. This role supports Germany’s evolving retirement market while helping deliver investment solutions across Europe.
How You Will Add Value
Distribution Partnership
- You will represent FTIS across German and European markets.
- You will support new business and mandate opportunities.
- You will partner with sales teams on market strategies.
- You will develop client mandates with portfolio managers.
Client Solutions
- You will design multi-asset and retirement solutions.
- You will support Altersvorsorgedepot-aligned offerings.
- You will tailor portfolios to client needs and regulations.
- You will advise institutional and distribution clients.
Client Relationship Management
- You will lead client meetings and portfolio reviews.
- You will support client retention and growth.
- You will communicate investment strategy and performance.
Thought Leadership & Product Strategy
- You will represent FTIS at industry events.
- You will contribute to market insights and thought leadership.
- You will support product launches and training.
- You will provide expertise on retirement reforms and regulation.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
Experience
- Significant experience in investment solutions or multi-asset investing.
- Experience within retirement and pension markets.
- Background in portfolio management, research, or consulting.
- Business development experience with institutional or wholesale clients.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- CFA designation preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of German retirement and pension markets.
- Familiarity with Altersvorsorgedepot and related reforms.
- Understanding of PRIIPs, UCITS, MiFID II, and IDD.
- Knowledge of multi-asset investment solutions.
Soft Skills
- Fluent German and English.
- Strong presentation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel across Europe and EMEA.
Work Schedule & Location
Based in Frankfurt, Germany, with regular travel across Europe and EMEA.
