Tax Accountant / Financial Accountant (all gender)

Your mission

• You support the accurate financial and tax-related review, coding, and booking of ongoing business transactions (e.g. incoming invoices, travel expenses, credit card statements)
• You maintain and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and contribute to regular account maintenance as part of financial accounting
• You assist in fixed asset accounting – including the entry of acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals
• You handle dunning procedures, prepare accounts receivable aging reports, and communicate with internal departments and external business partners when needed
• You support the preparation of VAT returns and assist with other tax-related reporting tasks
• You contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB by supporting closing activities (e.g. accruals, provisions, account reconciliations)
• You help improve and streamline accounting and tax-related processes in coordination with the Finance team
• You act as a point of contact for colleagues with basic accounting and tax questions – and continuously expand your knowledge in the process

Your profile

Required Skills:

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship as a chartered tax accountant and/or a degree with a focus on finance / taxes
• You have gained relevant professional experience in accounting
• You use your expertise in payment transactions, accounts payable and accounts receivable in a target-oriented manner
• You are confident in using the accounting software DATEV
• You are characterized by very high-quality standards, reliability and a special sense of responsibility
• You are a team player and can organize yourself well

Desired Skills:

• Your existing gaming and/or esports affinity is a plus
• You have profound knowledge of commercial law (HGB)
• You are business fluent in German or English
