This division has undergone remarkable growth in recent years, expanding from 400 to 1,800 people globally through a series of strategic acquisitions. With over €1bn invested in building out its capabilities, this is a team that moves fast, thinks big, and handles the cargo that standard shipping simply can’t touch.
What makes this special
This isn’t your typical Ocean Export role. You’ll be part of a genuinely independent division — not a box-ticking freight desk. The team operates with its own global chartering desk (7–8 specialists), in-house legal resources, dedicated transport engineers, and its own on-site heavy lift assets. No chasing third parties for every move.
You’ll be handling the cargo that standard shipping can’t touch:
- Heavy EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects
- Machinery and factory equipment
- Solar installations and power generation components
- Oil & Gas infrastructure
- Out-of-gauge and heavy lift cargo — FCL, LCL, and cross-trades
The scale is significant — think $40m gigafactory builds, 200-container solar plant shipments, and projects generating €1m–€10m in revenue. This team does not focus on small freight.
Every day brings different challenges, from coordinating massive energy shipments to planning entire facility relocations across continents.

Your background
The role is open to candidates with 2–5+ years in Project Logistics. Whether you’re coming from an Ocean Export background with project cargo exposure, or you’re already a specialist in OOG and heavy lift, your skills will be valued here.
You’ll be working on Cargowise — full training is provided. Note that the role requires a ZUP (Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung) background check for system access, which the company will organise and manage on your behalf.
