IT Procurement – Contract Specialist (all genders) Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety‑critical tasks. With more than 500 customers in roughly 150 countries and over 45 000 workstations, we serve as the strategic link between IT requirements and contract law. 2–4 years of experience in analysing complex software agreements is required. The role supports customer projects from initial market analysis through to final contract signing.
Strategic Project & Partnership Management As part of the procurement team you will act as a strategic partner, translating customer requirements into robust supplier agreements and managing the entire contract life‑cycle.
Key Tasks
Contract Ownership : Independently manage and negotiate software licensing agreements (SaaS, On‑Premise) and IT service contracts at national and international levels.
Licensing Expertise : Leverage understanding of license metrics (e.g., Core‑based, Named User) to optimise the portfolio and evaluate new requests from Offer Management and project teams.
Compliance & Risk Management : Implement regulatory requirements (e.g., Cyber Security) and review contracts for audit compliance and liability clauses.
Stakeholder Management : Serve as a sparring partner for project managers, translating requirements from customer contracts into commercially robust supplier agreements.
Strategic Sourcing : Identify new procurement sources and evaluate suppliers based on price, availability, and proactive risk management.
Key Qualifications
Background & Expertise : Solid academic foundation in Business Law, IT Law, or Business Administration combined with experience drafting and negotiating complex IT framework agreements.
Contractual Proficiency : Experience in international contract law with a keen eye for critical IT‑specific clauses.
Systems & Analytical Skills : Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and strong Excel skills for complex data analysis and reporting.
Communication & Negotiation : Business‑fluent in German and English, presenting a professional, strategic approach to all stakeholders.
Solution‑Oriented Mindset : Proactive, dynamic work style with a consulting orientation, bridging technical departments and procurement.

Salary The remuneration consists of the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 45 208 gross per year (based on a 38.5‑hour week) plus an overpayment aligned with market conditions and your professional qualifications and experience.
