Job Introduction Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. We are looking for a System Architect for the existing solutions-team responsible for solution design, system design and standardization in the field of rail communication.
Key Tasks
- Creation of system architecture and system designs in collaboration with agile development teams
- Analysis of requirements through close cooperation with business analysts and other stakeholders according to the SAFe framework
- Mapping of technically complex areas as software requirements for the development teams
- Responsibility for the technical feasibility of the architecture and designs
- Generating ideas and further development of the system architecture
- Internal and external customer contact
Key Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a system or software architect or as a software developer
- Experience with Cloud Native and VoIP (SIP, IMS) is desirable
- Proficient in web technologies and CI/CD is an advantage
- Knowledge of the \“railway system\“ and related new communication technologies is helpful but not required
- \“Secure by Design\“ and \“Architecture Principles\“ are not foreign concepts to you
- Very good English skills and good German skills are necessary
- Communicative, proactive personality who enjoys making decisions
- Occasional business trips to customers are interesting to you

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 48,200 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
