Key Tasks
You act as the 3rd Level / Vendor Support point of contact for customers, analyzing and resolving system incidents and defects.
You plan and perform system updates and enhancements for complex IT systems.
Through close collaboration with customers, you understand their operational requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.
You participate in international projects in cooperation with subsidiaries and partner companies.
You review technical solutions against security requirements, assess necessary mitigation measures, and implement them accordingly.
Key Qualifications
You have completed a degree or vocational training with a focus on Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field, and bring at least 5 years of professional experience in Service Engineering or Systems Engineering.
You are able to analyze complex technical issues and communicate solutions effectively to different target audiences.
You combine strong technical skills with analytical thinking and a collaborative mindset, while remaining calm and solution-oriented in critical situations.
You have a strong interest in customized solutions, virtualization, and network technologies, and keep your knowledge up to date.
Your technical expertise includes Linux (Red Hat), hypervisor platforms (VMware, Linux KVM), scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), network protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, HTTP), as well as tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs).
You enjoy working directly with customers and are willing to travel internationally (approximately 25%). Therefore, you have an excellent command of English

Salary The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 47,800 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
