Voice communication is of crucial importance for every air traffic control service, both civil and military: uninterrupted, round-the-clock communication is a fundamental requirement. With the IT-based voice communication system iSecCOM, we as a team are developing a product solution for predominantly military customers.

As an Integration Engineer for the iSecCOM product, your tasks will focus on ensuring that different software components or modules work together correctly in an integrated system. With your integration strategy, you will deliver a SW solution of the highest quality and thereby shape the future of secure air traffic with us. You will work closely with product managers and test engineers within a development team to identify and solve integration issues.

Technologies: Linux Red Hat incl. High Availability, Ansible, Postgres, Jenkins, GIT, container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), Java/Groovy, Python, Kamailio, network protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, HTTP,…), Wireshark, JIRA, JAMA

Key Tasks

1. You integrate hardware/software modules and 3rd party components into our systems.
2. You develop test cases and check the functionality and compatibility of these components (Jira/Jama/Confluence).
3. Analysing system requirements and design documents.
4. Conducting integration tests and checking customer requirements.
5. You are part of a development team and also support colleagues from other teams with your expertise.
6. Researching and implementing best practices and new technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the integration test.

Key Qualifications

1. At least 5 years of professional experience in service, system integration or test engineering.
2. Completed several years of education with a focus on computer science, network technology (HTL, FH, university).
3. You have technical skills, analytical thinking and the ability to work in a team.
4. You have a strong interest in Linux (Red Hat), virtualization, network technology (VoIP) and IT security and are up-to-date in these areas.
5. Due to your previous professional experience, you have good IT infrastructure knowledge.
6. In rare cases, you travel to our customers and are on international business trips, therefore you speak English well.
