Job Introduction Frequentis Group with headquarters in Vienna is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety‑critical tasks. Worldwide, more than 500 customers in some 150 countries with more than 45,000 workstations already trust our Know‑how and proven experience.
As a member of our Procurement team, you are more than just a classic generalist in purchasing; you serve as the strategic link between IT requirements and contract law. We are looking for a professional with 2 to 4 years of experience who enjoys the analytical challenge of carefully examining complex software agreements. You will support our customer projects from the initial market analysis through to the final contract signing.
Key Tasks
Contract Ownership: You independently manage and negotiate software licensing agreements (SaaS, On‑Premise) as well as IT service contracts on both a national and international level.
Licensing Expertise: Leveraging your understanding of license metrics (e.g., Core‑based, Named User), you optimize our portfolio and evaluate new requests from Offer Management and project teams.
Compliance & Risk Management: You consistently implement regulatory requirements (e.g., Cyber Security) and review contracts for audit compliance and liability clauses.
Stakeholder Management: Acting as a sparring partner for our project managers, you translate requirements from customer contracts into commercially robust supplier agreements.
Strategic Sourcing: You identify new procurement sources and evaluate suppliers based on price, availability, and proactive risk management.
Key Qualifications
Background & Expertise: You combine a solid academic foundation (e.g., Business Law, IT Law, or Business Administration) with experience in negotiating and drafting complex IT framework agreements.
Contractual Proficiency: You are experienced in international contract law and have a keen eye for the critical details of IT‑specific clauses.
Systems & Analytical Skills: You are proficient in using ERP systems (ideally SAP) and have a strong passion for Excel as well as complex data analysis and reporting.
Communication & Negotiation: You are business‑fluent in both German and English and bring a professional, strategic approach to your work as a confident sparring partner for all stakeholders.
Solution‑Oriented Mindset: You maintain a proactive and dynamic work style, seeing yourself as a consulting‑oriented bridge between technical departments and procurement.
