Key Tasks
Contributing technical expertise to international project teams for the implementation of IT-based voice communication systems in airspace management
Design, integration, and further development of highly available, safety-critical IT systems
Technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams without disciplinary responsibility
Coordinating system architectures, interfaces, and technical concepts with internal and external stakeholders
Serving as the primary technical point of contact for the customer on an equal footing
Analyzing technical challenges and implementing sustainable solutions
Translating technical concepts into high-performance, field-proven high-tech systems
Flexible deployment in various roles, both at headquarters and on-site with the customer
Key Qualifications
Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU)
10 years of experience as an expert in IT, software, and telecommunications projects with a focus on delivery
In-depth technical expertise in:
Linux, networking technologies, VoIP (SIP/RTP)
Virtualization and container technologies
Session Border Controller, Security
Design, integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring (e.g., Zabbix, ELK, OpenSearch)
Experience in safety-critical or IT security-related areas is a plus
Certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) are a plus
Interest in IT, automation, and DevOps
Experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM) is a plus
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%)
Very good English skills
