Senior Manager Accounting Master Data Management (m/w/d)

Overview

We are expanding our team in the Accounting department and are seeking a Global Process Owner for Master Data Management. In this exciting role, you will actively contribute to redefining the accounting processes across the entire Fresenius Group as part of the ELEVATE project. ELEVATE is a business-driven, IT-supported transition to SAP S/4HANA, involving significant change and harmonization within the current corporate structure. The project is currently in the build and test phase, followed by rollout, and is expected to continue until at least 2030. You will be responsible for the central accounting master data (e.g., chart of accounts, profit centers, cost centers, and reporting structures), shaping a global competence center, and acting as the central interface (Network Captain) for all accounting-relevant master data processes.

Your Responsibilities

1. Manage central master data, including process design and harmonization
2. Ensure end-to-end process visibility
3. Exercise global governance and define task splits between central and regional units
4. Manage processes and interfaces with relevant functions (e.g., Accounting, Controlling, IT)
5. Optimize SAP S/4HANA reporting processes
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
7. Develop and monitor KPIs for process performance

Your Profile

1. Degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification
2. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector (GMP)
3. Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and accounting master data
4. Strong analytical skills and a structured working approach
5. Proficiency in MS Office, fluency in German and English
6. Ability to clearly present complex issues

Minimum grading: AT
