We are the Group Cybersecurity Office (GCSO) of Fresenius. The GCSO monitors and coordinates cybersecurity at Fresenius in order to make the security of digital value creation transparent across the group for the benefit of our patients. To this end, we have brought together various areas in the GCSO in which we are looking for people like you who are creative and can enthusiastically contribute to cybersecurity in healthcare for the benefit of our patients. What unites all of our areas? An enormous dynamic, working on an equal footing and an important task: protecting Fresenius around the world from cyber threats.
As Senior Manager Security Architecture (m/f/d), you are responsible for setting up and managing the newly created role of a group function for security architecture. You will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive security architecture strategy and thus actively driving #futurefresenius forward.

Your assignments
- Definition and implementation of a comprehensive group-wide security architecture strategy including group-wide frameworks, methodologies, guidelines, procedures, etc.
- Establishment of group-wide reporting and management of the group-wide Security Architecture Board
- Definition and coordination of generic security architecture blueprints within the group with all relevant stakeholders
- Definition of metrics to measure the effectiveness of the security architecture
- Evaluation of synergies, organization of assessments, and management of group-wide activities
- Communication with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels and responsibility for defining the vision, principles and strategy for security architects
- Analysis of new and updated cybersecurity standards, guidelines and regulations regarding their applicability at Fresenius as well as preparation, communication and discussion of any changes; adaptation of the architecture, requirements and guidelines in accordance with the changes
- Management and coordination of cybersecurity projects and sub-projects; support and organization of proof-of-concepts with the Fresenius business units
Your profile
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field or alternatively an apprenticeship with corresponding professional experience and further training
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in the cybersecurity environment and especially in security architecture
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, guidelines and regulations in the production environment
- Practice in working with metrics and measurements including documentation and reporting
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM or CISSP) are an advantage
- Experience in R&D, threat modelling, and risk assessments
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (business fluent), additional German language skills are an asset
- Strong vendor management and business stakeholder management expertise, as well as advanced reporting skills
- Analytical, creative, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial personality with the ability to self-organize and structure work
