To strengthen our Printing team, we are looking for an experienced Managing Consultant (m/f/d) with in-depth expertise in diverse Office print technologies, Managed print solutions and printer OEMs who is able to define and implement the global print strategy, roadmap, operational organization and capabilities.
The position can be filled in Germany or Poland.
Your responsibilities:
Print strategy and service governance:
Drive operational governance for global Office print services, ensuring efficient end-to-end service delivery in line with industry best practices.
Define and continuously improve service performance by reviewing metrics, SLAs, major incidents, escalations, ticket trends and transformation initiatives.
Advise leadership on print strategy, risk exposure and investment decisions, translating technical data into clear business and financial insights.
Solution optimization and lifecycle management:
Develop harmonized print solutions across business segments to improve efficiency, standardization and user experience.
Establish, maintain and own a single source of truth for the print solutions and device landscape, including deployments, contracts, utilization, reconciliations, refresh schedules and lifecycle management.
Reporting, stakeholder management and collaboration:
Implement executive print reporting, management dashboards and stakeholder-specific reports that provide actionable insights.
Build strong governance and effective collaboration with internal teams, business stakeholders, partners, OEMs and other relevant dependencies.
Quality, risk and financial management:
Establish best practices for knowledge and quality management. Proactively manage risk, security and compliance topics by conducting assessments and minimizing audit exposure, penalties and unplanned expenditures.
Own cost optimization and financial management activities, including budgets, forecasting, investment planning, chargebacks, rationalization, reharvesting, cost avoidance and savings.
Your qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or Business Management, other non-technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 8 years of experience in leading print services in global organizations with diverse print technologies
In-depth expertise in print technologies, hardware, and solutions (e.g., Managed Print Services, FollowMe, SAP printing)
Proven experience in end-to-end print management in large, diverse global enterprises
Excellent stakeholder reporting and data presentation skills
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-organizational teams, multi-cultural projects and partner
Expertise in vendor/OEM governance, contract negotiations and performance management
Analytical thinker with very good inter-personal skills and the ability to work independently
Business-fluent proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
