The Strategy & Transformation Lead (Digital & AI) acts as a trusted advisor and execution partner to the Global Head of Digital Transformation, shaping and driving Fresenius Kabi’s Digital & AI strategy across business units.
The role sits at the intersection of Digital & AI strategy, portfolio steering, and organizational maturity tracking, ensuring that initiatives are aligned to business priorities, deliver measurable value, and are managed with full transparency across the enterprise.
1. Strategy Development
Conduct deep-dive analyses, external benchmarking, and technology trend monitoring
Translate strategic insights into clear opportunity spaces, identifying both functional and cross-functional Digital & AI use cases
Support definition of strategic priorities and investment areas
2. Portfolio Management
Structure and manage the Digital & AI initiative portfolio
Create transparency on:
Strategic priorities
Progress and KPIs
Dependencies and risks
Ensure alignment between strategy and execution, supporting fact-based decision-making at leadership level
3 . Change Management Auditing
Design and run periodic company-wide audits on Digital & AI maturity
Assess both: Technology adoption, ways of working and cultural evolution
Derive actionable insights and track transformation progress across business units
4. Strategic Support
Act as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the Global Head of Digital Transformation
Prepare and support leadership meetings and governance forums (e.g., steering committees)
Ensure alignment across stakeholders, proactively managing escalations and bottlenecks
Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives and special projects as required
Requisite Qualification & Experience:
Education:
- University degree, MBA is a plus
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or digital/AI transformation roles
- Proven experience in developing and implementing digital strategies, roadmaps, or transformation programs
- Experience in portfolio management, PMO, or governance within complex, cross-functional environments
- Exposure to global organizations; experience in healthcare/pharma is a plus
