Overview
In this role, you join Freshfields’ market-leading ACT practice in Brussels to advise on competition, regulatory and trade matters, including cross-border mandates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic, client-focused solutions and contribute to business development and knowledge management. The role combines high-level client work with mentoring junior lawyers in a truly international, collegial environment. A relocation to Brussels is expected, enabling you to integrate into the local and global team.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Advise clients on competition law and related commercial issues
- Draft/negotiate transaction and other contracts
- Prepare submissions to authorities and courts
- Manage transactions and client relationships
- Engage in business development and client events
- Train and supervise trainees/junior lawyers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Top-class academic qualifications; English fluency; French is a plus
- Experience or strong interest in competition and trade law
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ability to handle a high workload and assume responsibility
