Responsibilities:
- Disciplinary and functional leadership of the assigned personnel, ensuring the required qualifications
- Ensuring smooth production operations, including production resource planning
- Responsibility for achieving the production, quality, and financial targets of the business unit
- Initiating, prioritizing, steering, and monitoring optimization processes (productivity projects) in close collaboration with process engineering, product development, and product marketing
- Responsibility for HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), as well as cleanliness and order within the business unit
- Investment planning and further development of the production area
- Direct communication with customers
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering with additional business qualifications, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in plastics and silicone processing, as well as knowledge of the specific requirements of the automotive industry
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean training (preferably Black Belt)
- Experience in project management and ideally initial leadership experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP, as well as strong English language skills
- High level of commitment, flexibility, and a goal-oriented, independent way of working
- Strong team orientation and solid conflict management skills
