Responsibilities:

  • Implement actions from business plans and market strategies regarding global, regional and important local accounts
  • Participate and lead product and service launches, including sales tools and marketing documents
  • Develop and drive business with defined global accounts to obtain approvals, first fill business, recommendations and references
  • Oversee management of relevant regional accounts
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for global and relevant regional accounts. Close cooperation with local sales management
  • Follow up on opportunities generated worldwide, promoting multiplication
  • Analyze market information and monitor competitors
  • Develop strong network and partnership with internal technical departments
  • Initiate product benchmark tests, communicate the results, and convert them into selling arguments
  • Gather, consolidate, analyze and disseminate information about competitor products
  • Participate in the testing and implementation of new and existing product concepts. Lead new product launches with required sales tools and marketing documents (including product information leaflets, internal information leaflets, and application information)
  • Propose and follow-up new product developments process with all involved departments to be aligned and updated according to market needs
  • Develop and share effective sales tools to assist sales team in positioning and selling Klüber products
  • Participate in the design of new services and place them in the market
  • Compile product and service portfolio for newly identified markets/applications
  • Provide qualified support for the handling of complaints
  • Hold trainings, presentations, seminars and workshops for employees and customers
  • Write and publish technical articles and documents
  • Network, discuss, and agree on tasks and duties of allocated sales teams with Regional Sales Managers to ensure alignment of market development activities
  • Create and update sales and marketing material
  • Continuous worldwide market monitoring, observation and evaluation in cooperation with BD
  • Drive to win big sales opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Graduate engineer (technical university, university of applied sciences), preferably specialising in mechanical engineering, machine elements – or similar qualification
  • Several years of experience in the field of sales and application, marketing, product management
  • Good command of both written and spoken English; good command of German desirable
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
  • Professional, customer-oriented attitude
  • Cooperative and convincing behaviour
  • Passionate about working in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams
