Responsibilities

Closing Activities: You support the timely execution of monthly and quarterly financial closings in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP (HGB), including the reconciliation of key balance sheet and P&L positions.

IFRS Application: You contribute to the correct implementation of relevant IFRS requirements within the accounting processes.

System Enablement: You collaborate closely with internal and external partners to implement new functionalities, systems, or process changes within the accounting landscape.

International Projects: You support the development of global accounting standards, prepare technical content for international entities, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and take ownership of managing and driving projects forward.

Process Ownership: You identify optimization and automation opportunities, proactively drive their implementation, and present structured improvement proposals.

Stakeholder Management: You act as a technical point of contact for Audit, Tax, local Finance teams, and the global Accounting organization.
Qualifications

Educational Background: You have completed a commercial or business-related apprenticeship or degree; an additional qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) is an advantage but not mandatory.

Professional Experience: You bring relevant experience in accounting and possess solid knowledge of both HGB and IFRS.

System Skills: You have good knowledge of SAP FI (ideally S/4HANA) and enjoy process optimization as well as contributing to the development and implementation of new systems.

Analytical Strength: You work in a structured and precise manner and demonstrate a strong understanding of financial processes and interdependencies.

Communication: You communicate clearly and appropriately with different stakeholders, both in national and international contexts.

Languages: You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Working Style: You work reliably and solution-oriented and thrive in a dynamic accounting environment that continues to evolve.
