As a deeply engaged and capable Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d), you thrive on shaping a strong data culture and building insights-driven solutions that empower those around you. You act as a key interface between business and data, translating complex information into clear, impactful decisions. In this role, you’ll engage in cross-functional collaboration, reporting, and the development of data products while contributing to strategic company initiatives.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Shape and define the information goals of the business and stakeholders.
  • Deliver the right reports, analyses, and data solutions using the most suitable tools and technologies for each task.
  • Identify and integrate useful data sources, collaborating with Data Engineers and stakeholders to build sustainable, end-to-end analytics solutions.
  • Co-own and evolve data models and business data structures to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Lead and support legacy data migrations, ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and seamless integration into modern systems.
  • Optimize and improve the analytics tech stack, continuously enhancing data processes and tooling.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and improve how data-driven priorities are set.
  • Shape the company\’s Data Strategy alongside the data team and company leadership.
  • Champion and contribute to a strong data culture across the organization.
  • Provide expert guidance and support, helping stakeholders obtain the insights they need to make decisions and track success.

How You Will Contribute

  • Providing reliable and coherent business data to stakeholders in management and large B2B partners.
  • Creating continuously improving self-service analytics solutions.
  • Building up our data-models and domain-understanding across all company functions.
  • Shape and deliver strategic projects around Data that create direct value.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, delivering insights and reports that drive decision-making.
  • Proven track record of building insightful reports and conducting in-depth analysis using established reporting tools, preferably Tableau.
  • Strong SQL expertise with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, as well as ANSI SQL/Snowflake. Bonus points for query optimization, big-data querying, and columnar storage experience.
  • Ability to architect and structure reporting and analytics frameworks in a systematic, reusable, and scalable way.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey insights to stakeholders and collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Experience with and affinity for Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and other data modeling fundamentals.
  • Self-sufficient in adopting new technologies and integrating diverse data sources, continuously expanding your analytics capabilities.
  • Knowledge of common third-party data sources and analytical tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • Bonus points for experience in adjacent fields like Data Science and Data Engineering (especially Python but also MATLAB, R, Machine Learning, MapReduce, etc.).
  • A highly professional, curious, proactive, and supportive mindset, driving collaboration and innovation.
  • Experience working successfully with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Fluent in English (C1 or higher) is a must; German is a plus.
