Responsibilities
What You Will Be Doing
- You administrate and further expand our cloud infrastructures (AWS / Azure).
- You are working and collaborating closely with the development and Corporate IT infrastructure team.
- You ensure the required uptime, reliability and security of our critical systems.
- You like to be proactively up to date with new technologies and to participate in the architectural roadmap.
- You participate in the internal IT on-call driven by the team.
Requirements
What You Bring
- You bring professional experience as an AWS cloud operations engineer – Azure cloud experience would be a plus.
- You think solution- and customer-oriented and are open to new technologies.
- You bring along a training as IT specialist and several years of experience in this area or a technical degree.
- You have first-hand practical experience with container management and orchestration of a microservice architecture.
- You are familiar within the IT cloud environment, preferably in at least some of the following areas: Amazon EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, Cloudflare, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, Istio, Prometheus, Grafana, Python.
- You feel comfortable communicating in English in a multicultural team – German / Spanish language (Level B2) is a plus.
- You have a valid EU work permit.
- We embrace a DevOps-driven approach, combining automation, collaboration and continuous delivery. Our cutting-edge technology stack includes AWS/Azure cloud Infrastructure as code, Kubernetes (enhanced by Istio), a modern CI/CD pipeline and a microservice architecture powered by Java, Spring Boot and databases like Aurora for MySQL.
