.NET Software Engineer
Your main responsibilities:
- Maintain, support, and further develop existing .NET desktop applications in combination with SQL Server.
- Develop new software solutions using modern technologies (e.g., web applications, containerization, cloud services).
- Create, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
- Analyze, evaluate, and implement business and technical requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Help shape and further develop the software architecture, including the selection of suitable technologies and tools.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure software quality, and optimize application performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Support error analysis and troubleshooting in 2nd- and 3rd-level support.
- Actively participate in an agile development team.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously improve development processes.
We are looking for a pragmatic and solution-oriented personality who has a sense of ownership for the solutions we engineer.
Your profile:
- Several years of experience in development with .NET Framework and .NET 5 or higher.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, including design, querying, and performance tuning.
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
- Proficient in object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
- A good sense for IT security and data protection in the context of software development.
- Ability to liase with internal stakeholders and strong willingness to contribute to the company's success
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AI development tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in web application development with Angular
- Basic knowledge of other programming languages such as Java and TypeScript.
- Experience with test automation (unit, integration, UI tests) and test frameworks.
- Experience in developing and maintaining desktop applications (e.g., WPF, WinForms)
