Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a specialization in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of an MES related project, including planning, execution, and documentation, as well as overseeing the integration of critical interfaces. This role requires 60% on-site presence in the manufacturing site in Stein, CH. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of GxP regulations are mandatory.
What you will be doing:
- Lead MES related project, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with quality standards. Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain detailed project plans.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and integration of the MES system with other manufacturing systems.
- Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment on project goals. Facilitate regular status meetings and address any concerns.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Ensure proper documentation of project activities and oversee the creation of electronic batch records. Coordinate training and provide ongoing support for end-users.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of project management experience, focusing on MES implementations in manufacturing.
- Proven track record with MES systems in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
- Strong understanding of GMP, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with external vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and MES software.
- Familiarity with system integration (e.g., ERP, LIMS) and continuous improvement practices.
