Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager to lead and oversee testing activities within SAP implementation, upgrade, and transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all testing processes are conducted effectively, meet quality standards, and align with project objectives. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, managing testing teams, and delivering end-to-end test solutions in SAP environments.

• Test Strategy and Planning :
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive SAP test strategy and approach for projects.
  • Define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables based on project requirements.
  • Optimize existing testing procedures.
• Test Management :
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of test plans, test scripts, and test cases for SAP modules.
  • Manage the entire testing lifecycle, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues related to testing activities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration :
  • Liaise with project managers, SAP functional and technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing goals and timelines.
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams.
• Manage testing teams, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior testers and coordinate cross-functional test efforts.
• Quality Assurance :
  • Establish and enforce testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for testing.
• Test Reporting :
  • Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation of test results, issues, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Tool Management :
  • Implement and manage test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., HP ALM, Tosca).
  • Ensure integration of test tools with SAP environments.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience :
  • Extensive experience in software testing.
  • Proven experience as a Test Manager in SAP projects, including large-scale implementations or upgrades.
• Technical Skills :
  • Hands-on experience with SAP testing tools (e.g., HP ALM, Tricentis Tosca).
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and methodologies.
• Soft Skills :
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams in dynamic project environments.
• Certifications (Preferred) :
  • ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent.
  • SAP-related certifications in relevant modules or SAP testing.
• Other Requirements :
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel for project needs, if required.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific SAP implementations, such as Life Sciences or Consumer Goods, is a plus.
