We have spun out of EPFL's Swiss Plasma Center and have just completed our pre-seed fundraise.We are looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our founding team in Lausanne and help build our core technology.This job is for you if you are a passionate engineer with deep knowledge cutting across real-time / embedded systems, software and hardware, and excited about building the systems to monitor and control real-world fusion plasmas.TasksImplement real-time control, analysis, data acquisition systems in the kHz to MHz range, as individual contributor and in a team.Integrate solutions across a variety of company products and services as well as on our in-house test beds.Provide technical leadership within a growing real-time control and software engineering team that you will help to build.Translate customer needs into requirements and specifications.RequirementsExperience taking hard-real-time acquisition and control loops from incomplete requirements through to commissioning on hardware, in domains such as automotive, robotics, embedded, electrical and/or scientific instrumentation.'Full stack': familiarity with all aspects of real-time technologies, from physical/DAQ, real-time software frameworks and middleware, real-time OS and integration.Fluency in a mix of high-level and low-level languages such as C, C++, Rust, MATLAB/Simulink, Python.
