App/Web Developer – BERLIN, GERMANY – Financial Services

We are looking for an App/Web Developer to join one of our clients – a digital financial company with teams and offices in Berlin, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and Vienna.

Responsibilities:

• Low-code development and configuration of standard frameworks (Drupal, Moodle, Microsoft 365)
• Web-design/development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP, MySQL, SQL)
• Documentation, maintenance and testing
• You’ll work closely with the Data Science team to progress their technology platform and help unlock the full potential of the engineers around you.

Requirements:

• Agile practices including Scrum
• Experience writing tests, automating these and adopting TDD is desirable
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP, SQL
• Fluent in English; German and French are a plus
• Team player
• Experience in designing innovative software and systems architectures
• MSc/MA in computer science or relevant field and excellent understanding of the current Agile development methods and technologies
• Experience in project/program management of complex projects
