We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a critical Data Centre refurbishment project in Frankfurt. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of site operations, manage the existing shift team, and ensure the facility remains fully compliant throughout the refurbishment works. Rotations are available, and an EU Passport is essential.

Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
Rate: Up to €1,200 per day

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for the site, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Manage the rota, performance, and day-to-day activities of a team of 12 engineers.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) are consistently followed.
- Maintain compliance across the facility while refurbishment activities are undertaken.
- Monitor site performance, resolve operational issues, and support uninterrupted facility uptime.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Critical Facilities Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role within a Data Centre or critical environment.
- Previous experience managing operational teams within a live facility.
- Strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering background.
- High Voltage (HV) experience is essential.
- Experience managing subcontractors, maintenance activities, and operational compliance.
- Strong understanding of SOPs, EOPs, and critical facility operations.
- Previous experience working on live refurbishment or upgrade projects within Data Centres.
- Experience within other mission-critical environments such as Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Industrial facilities.
