Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to support the development and delivery of a Green Steel Plant project. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and risk management, ensuring milestones are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of the green steel plant project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large-scale industrial, steel, energy, or heavy manufacturing projects.
- Strong knowledge of EPC, construction, commissioning, and project delivery methodologies.
- Experience working on low‑carbon, renewable energy, hydrogen, or sustainability‑focused projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Relevant project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
