I'm currently working with a leading construction client in Germany that is looking to engage an experienced Senior Estimator / Kalkulator to support the delivery of major turnkey construction projects.
This opportunity is particularly suited to professionals with experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, with strong knowledge of BIM-based estimating, iTWO, and Revit.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess tender and bid documentation
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial calculations
- Produce tender submissions for turnkey construction projects using 3D models
- Develop value engineering proposals and alternative technical solutions
- Create project schedules and support bid strategy development
- Work closely with project teams throughout tender and delivery phases
- Support the transition from pre-construction into project execution
- Contribute to the ongoing development of BIM-driven estimating processes using iTWO and Revit
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or qualification as a Construction Technician
- Proven experience within estimating, pre-construction, or project delivery for a General Contractor
- Strong understanding of turnkey building projects
- Experience with estimating software, ideally iTWO (RIB)
- Working knowledge of Revit and BIM methodologies
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Fluent German language skills are highly advantageous
