Welder in Kassel

We are currently seeking experienced TIG (141) & MMA (111) Pipe Welders for a long-term manufacturing project based in Kassel, Germany. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established industrial environment, working on high-quality pipework projects with consistent hours and long-term project continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG (141) and MMA (111) pipe welding activities
• Weld carbon steel pipework to a high standard
• Perform welding in the H-L045 position
• Produce welds that meet stringent quality requirements and radiographic testing standards
• Work as part of a two-shift production environment
• Follow all site quality, safety, and operational procedures

Welding Test Requirements

Candidates must be capable of successfully completing the following weld tests:

• 141/111 T BW FM3 S/B t8.8 D60.3 H-L045 ss nb
• 141/111 T BW FM3 S/B t16.0 D168 H-L045 ss nb

Test Material Dimensions

All welds must be radiographically acceptable (RT tested).

Successful candidates will receive TÜV certification following successful completion of the qualification process.

Early Shift

• 06:30 - 16:15

Late Shift

• 16:15 - 02:40

Saturday Shift

• 06:00 - 12:00

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in TIG (141) and MMA (111) pipe welding
• Experience welding carbon steel pipework
• Ability to pass RT-tested weld assessments
• Experience working to strict quality standards in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Eligible to work in Germany
• Available for immediate or short-notice mobilisation

The work involves the fabrication and welding of specialist pipe assemblies and connections, including complex register connections consisting of double-pipe configurations welded to oval header sections. Candidates should be comfortable working with varying pipe diameters and wall thicknesses and producing welds that meet rigorous inspection and testing requirements.
