to join a major Data Centre project in
Linz, Austria . This role requires a proactive professional with a proven track record on large-scale construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance are maintained across all site activities. Location:

Freelance / Contract Key Responsibilities:
Lead all health & safety activities across the project site. Ensure compliance with local legislation, client requirements, and company HSE procedures. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Investigate incidents and near misses, implementing corrective and preventative actions. Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to site personnel. Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained. Monitor subcontractor compliance and promote a positive safety culture across the project. Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives on all HSE matters. Produce regular HSE reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager on large-scale construction projects. Previous experience in a similar Health & Safety role on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Infrastructure, or other mission-critical projects. Strong understanding of construction health & safety legislation and industry best practices. Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, NVQ, Diploma, or equivalent). EU Passport or the right to work within the EU. Experience working for a Main Contractor or General Contractor. Additional environmental or occupational health qualifications.
