Rate: Negotiable The Project Controls Specialist will be responsible for supporting the effective planning, monitoring, control and reporting of a major project, ensuring accurate forecasting and strong project administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and improve project controls procedures, systems and tools.
Develop and manage project schedules, programmes and critical paths.
Support resource planning and cost management.
Monitor project progress, performance and earned value.
Manage project change, risks and opportunities.
Produce accurate project reports covering progress, cost, resources, schedule and key risks/issues.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners and suppliers.
Identify and communicate schedule risks, issues and required mitigations.
Ensure project controls activities comply with company, client and contractual requirements.
Support and contribute to continuous improvement and best-practice project controls.
Essential: Right to work in Germany.5+ years of experience in project controls, project management or a similar project environment.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with good Excel capability.
Experience with project scheduling, reporting and/or cost control.
Experience with Primavera P6, Power BI, PRISM or similar project controls software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider project team.
Desirable: Degree in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
Project Controls or Project Management qualification.
Experience working on major infrastructure, engineering or construction projects.
