Contract Role | Germany-Based | German-Speaking
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to provide hands-on cost and commercial management across 3-4 live construction projects in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Own project cost reporting, forecasts, cash flow and final cost projections.
- Manage change control, variations, purchase orders and budget alignment.
- Review contractor invoices, payment applications and valuations.
- Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities and contingency.
- Lead post-contract commercial management through to final account and project close-out.
- Provide clear commercial insights and reporting to senior stakeholders, project teams and Finance.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager on live construction projects.
- Proven post-contract commercial management, cost reporting and forecasting expertise.
- Experience managing multiple projects, contractor valuations, change control and cash flow.
- Fluent German; strong English is advantageous.
- Experience in data centres, mission-critical infrastructure or complex MEP projects is preferred.

A commercially astute, hands-on professional who can independently manage project costs, challenge forecasts and contractor submissions, and provide accurate, timely commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
