About the role:

Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who create essential research, industry predictions, and best practices for leading organizations worldwide. A Senior Director establishes themselves as a credible voice within their domain at local, regional, and global levels, producing pragmatic and provocative research that clients use to drive growth. They serve as trusted advisors through virtual and in-person meetings, sales calls, and conference presentations, addressing complex client challenges with appropriate recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

• Create innovative, impactful research content.
• Develop new ideas and research to meet client needs.
• Analyze and identify root causes of client challenges to drive strategy.
• Establish research positions and influence the research agenda.
• Research industry trends and provide actionable insights.
• Engage with clients and prospects through virtual and face-to-face interactions.
• Deliver presentations at events and client briefings.
• Support sales efforts as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Review peer content and collaborate within the research team.
• Build industry credibility and represent Gartner’s methodologies.
• Participate in research discussions and foster relationships within the team.
• Identify and develop research process improvements.
• Mentor junior analysts.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Subject matter expertise in digital strategy and transformation.
• Executive presence and credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, research, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze data and synthesize insights.
• Comfortable presenting at various engagement levels.
• Business acumen and knowledge of the global landscape.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally (~15%).
