As a Senior Technical Artist, you bridge art and tech to deliver high-end visuals in Unity. You own visual quality and performance across projects, designing and optimizing complex graphical systems and assets. You translate design concepts into robust technical solutions and help shape the architecture of visual game systems. You also create and integrate animations, 3D models, simulations, and prototypes, while mentoring teammates and enforcing best practices. This role suits a creative, technically minded contributor who drives quality at scale.

- Own visual and technical quality across projects to ensure a consistent player experience
- Design, implement, and optimize graphical systems and assets with a focus on performance and visual fidelity
- Translate creative concepts into robust Unity-based technical solutions and help define visual system architecture
- Create and oversee animations, 3D models, simulations, and prototypes, integrating them with custom shaders, tools, and scripting
- Mentor team members, review implementations, document workflows, and enforce technical best practices across production pipelines
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Several years of professional experience as a Technical Artist, preferably in gaming or real-time 3D
- Advanced expertise in Photoshop, After Effects, and Spine; strong Unity proficiency including shader development and scripting
- Strong understanding of real-time rendering, optimization techniques, and game performance constraints
- Creative mindset with high technical ownership and problem-solving ability
- Excellent English (spoken and written); German is a plus
- Proven ability to mentor others and collaborate in cross-functional teams
