About The Position
Gauzy is a global leader in materials science and nanotechnology focused on the development and production of LCG® (Light Control Glass) technologies. We are looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Manager, who will join our site in Sulz am Neckar, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams am Standort Sulz am Neckar suchen wir eine engagierte/n und erfahrene/n Lager- und Logistikleiter (m/w/d), der/die die Verantwortung für die Organisation, Optimierung und Steuerung aller Lager- und Logistikprozesse übernimmt und damit einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Erfolg unseres Unternehmens leistet.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify their accuracy and condition, and document any discrepancies or damages in accordance with procedures and policies.
- Inspect goods for quality and quantity to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks, labeling, and organizing goods within the warehouse. Update inventory systems or spreadsheets to reflect stock movements and ensure proper documentation.
- Shipments and order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately based on provided guidelines and packing lists. Ensure that products are appropriately labeled and packaged for shipment, including applying necessary shipping labels and documentation.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of goods received, shipped, and stored. Generate reports on inventory levels, order status, and any incidents or discrepancies that occur during warehouse operations.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from delivery trucks or other transportation vehicles using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling goods.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by arranging products, supplies, and equipment in designated areas. Ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions or damages.
- Safety and Security: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. Report any safety hazards or incidents and assist in implementing security measures to prevent theft or unauthorized access to the warehouse.
- Export, import and shipment: support the export department in Israel in processing of import and export shipments, responsible for shipping orders nationally and throughout Europe and prepare the necessary documents, ensure that all shipments are sent properly with the required documents and communicate with forwarding agents, customs offices, etc.
Requirements
- +2 years of proven experience in a similar role in a computerized warehouse
- Experience in shipping, import-export, and customs processing
- Experience with inventory management systems or software.
- Fluent in German
- High proficiency in English
- Experience working on ERP software (SAP - an advantage)
- Certifications in warehouse operations or forklift operation - Advantage.
- Experience with MS Office and Excel for data entry and generating reports.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
Qualifikationen und Fertigkeiten
- QMindestens 2 Jahre nachgewiesene Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position in einem computergestützten Lager
- Erfahrung im Versand, Import-Export und in der Zollabwicklung
- Erfahrung mit Bestandsverwaltungssystemen oder entsprechender Software
- Muttersprache Deutsch
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
- Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit ERP-Software (SAP von Vorteil)
- Zertifizierungen in Lagerlogistik oder Gabelstaplerbetrieb – von Vorteil
- Erfahrung mit MS Office und Excel zur Dateneingabe und Erstellung von Berichten
- Ausgeprägte Aufmerksamkeit für Details und hohe Genauigkeit bei der Aufgabenausführung
- Hervorragende Organisations- und Zeitmanagementfähigkeiten
- Effektive Kommunikations- und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten zur Zusammenarbeit mit Teammitgliedern und zur effektiven Kommunikation mit Vorgesetzten
