Job Title: MES Support Engineer
Location: Hamburg, Germany – open for other sites in Germany depending where you are based
Start Date: August/September 2025
Duration: 12+ months
Experience Required: 4–6 years in Manufacturing & Quality-related shop floor applications, including hands-on production support.
Language : German is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for shopfloor IT and MES applications
- Troubleshoot issues related to production line systems (e.g., barcode scanners, printers, smart devices)
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution
- Follow IT service management processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Capacity)
- Communicate with business users, OEMs, and IT stakeholders
- Maintain SLAs and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Participate in shift rotation and support model adherence
- Create and share operational reports
- Track and report progress to stakeholders
- Use ServiceNow for incident and change management
Technical Skills:
- Experience with shopfloor systems and line-side IT devices
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, MES tools, PLC, SCADA, HMI (Aveva/Wonderware InTouch is a plus)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of machine integration is an added advantage
