The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Implementation Specialist – Network & Security to join a technology team based in Dubai.
This opportunity is particularly suited to experienced network and security professionals currently based internationally who are interested in relocating to Dubai and developing their career in the UAE technology market.
The role is highly hands-on and will focus on the design, implementation and troubleshooting of complex enterprise networking and security solutions, with Cisco Networking as a core requirement alongside strong exposure to leading security technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure and implement enterprise Network and Network Security solutions across Campus, Data Centre and WAN environments.
- Lead network and security implementations from design through deployment and handover.
- Design and implement Cisco ACI, SD-Access, SD-WAN and DNA Assurance solutions.
- Deploy and manage Cisco technologies including Catalyst, Nexus, FTD, ISE and Umbrella/SASE.
- Implement security solutions including firewalls, VPN, IPS, NAC, Proxy, WAF and secure remote access.
- Configure and support multi-vendor security platforms, particularly Fortinet, Palo Alto and Check Point.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including HLDs and LLDs.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues and provide technical support throughout project delivery.
- Work directly with customers, project teams and technical stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
What We're Looking For
- CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE certified.
- 5+ years' experience in network and security implementation.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco enterprise networking.
- Strong knowledge of routing and networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus and ACI.
- Strong Cisco security experience, ideally including FTD, ISE and Umbrella/SASE.
- Practical implementation experience with at least one or more of Fortinet, Palo Alto or Check Point.
- Experience with Cisco SD-Access, SD-WAN and DNA Assurance.
- Understanding of public cloud networking and cloud-native security.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation and customer-facing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
- Fluency in English is required.
