Through process and cost optimization, you will maintain the organization’s competitiveness and drive results for our customers. /ph3Job Description /h3h3What you’ll do /h3ulliCreate and maintain manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOM) within the PLM system and ensure seamless integration with the ERP system /liliDefine and maintain detailed routing steps, work instructions, and production cycle times for complex gas turbine components /liliPerform cost comparisons and support annual standard price updates /liliCoordinate the implementation of PLM part definition changes /liliManage and maintain master data for tooling, fixtures, and consumables within the ERP system to ensure production readiness /liliDrive strategic initiatives to optimize overall production performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) /liliShare knowledge and support the onboarding of junior team members /liliServe as the primary interface between Design Engineering, Procurement, and Shop Floor Operations to resolve technical bottlenecks and ensure schedule adherence /li /ulh3What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) /h3ulliCompleted technical vocational training (Swiss EFZ or equivalent), ideally as a Polymechanic or Design Engineer or relevant or similar experience /li /ululliFurther education in a technical or management field (e.g., HF Technician, Process Specialist, or a B.Sc. in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience /liliProven experience working with PLM systems (ideally Teamcenter or Enovia) /li /ululliHands‑on experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP) /liliExperience in a manufacturing, operations, or Hot Gas Path (HGP) engineering environment /liliStrong ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation /liliWorking knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies /liliProficiency in German and English skills /li /ulh3What will make you stand out? /h3ulliCollaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills /liliIndependent, performance-oriented, and reliable approach to work /liliCost‑conscious and entrepreneurial mindset /liliInnovative mindset with a focus on problem‑solving /liliCustomer‑focused with a drive for quality /liliStrong sense of accountability and ownership /li /ulh3What we offer /h3pEmployees at GE Vernova rise to the challenge of helping to create a world that thrives.
