GEA Group Services GmbH in Düsseldorf handles the corporate functions of GEA AG, including areas such as corporate finance, legal, and IT, providing central services for all divisions. The location also houses the Digital HUB and the Center of Excellence (CoE).
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manager Strategic Manufacturing Projects (f/m/d) for deployment in Düsseldorf as soon as possible.
- Establish governance, reporting, and tracking for all localization projects to ensure structured decision-making.
- Support divisions in business case preparation, feasibility analysis, and planning.
- Align localization efforts with production capabilities, ensuring feasibility for receiving sites and optimizing manufacturing footprint.
- Steer and consolidate financial insights from controlling teams to ensure project viability and COGS reduction alignment.
- Develop a centralized tracking system to oversee project progress, cost savings, and key performance indicators.
- Facilitate seamless communication and operational readiness between sending and receiving sites.
- Support senior leadership with structured updates and reports on localization impact.
- Standardize best practices for localization projects, integrating lessons learned to improve future initiatives.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Operations Management are a plus.
- Several years of experience in project management, operations, or manufacturing, preferably in an international industrial environment.
- Strong background in localization, insourcing, or production network optimization projects.
- Knowledge of CAPEX processes, business case development, and financial evaluation for industrial investments.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, automation, and process improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex topics concisely to various audiences.
- Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) to coordinate localization efforts across regions and divisions.
